From the current year i.e. 2017, CBSE has made an announcement that applicants who want to appear in JEE Main 2018 should have Aadhaar card which is issued by UIDAI at the time of filling application form. JEE Advanced 2018 exam will be conducted by IITK on 20th May, 2018. It will be organized by IIT Kanpur. This year there is a great change in the pattern of exam. IITK has declared that extra 20 minutes will be provided for logging in the desktop and for extra work. This decision was taken at the Joint Admission Board meeting which was held at IIT Madras on Sunday.Officials stated that there will no any printing mistake in the question paper. JEE Main 2018 is available in online and offline also.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2018

Pursuing candidates must satisfy these eligibility conditions before applying for JEE Main 2018. The Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2018 is that the candidate should pass 12th class or have scored 45% marks in each subject.

CBSE has made some changes which came in to existence from this year. That updates are as follows-

Aadhaar Card Number

All the candidates who want to apply for JEE Main 2018 should have an Aadhaar Card Number issued by UIDAI. This number is required at the time of filling application form of JEE Main 2018. With this the candidate has to enter date of birth, name & gender which gets the confirmation with UIDAI’s data. It is very important that each and every information should match else the application form will be rejected.

Provision for J&K, Assam and Meghalaya Candidates

The candidates who have pursued or completed 12th class from J&K, Assam and Meghalaya, they have to fill ration card number, passport number , bank account number or any other applicable Govt. identity number.

The Essential Subjects of JEE Main 2018

The candidates should have studied these 5 subjects in 12th.  For B.E. B.Tech  the candidate must and have studied Physics and Mathematics and must have studied Chemistry. Biology,Biotechnology. They should score 50% marks in Mathematics.

The Year of Passing for JEE Mains 2018

The candidates who have passed 12th class in 2015 or 2016 can apply for JEE Mains 2018. The students who are currently (i.e in 2017) in 12th class can also apply for the JEE Mains 2018.

Number of Attempts for JEE Mains

A candidate can appear for JEE Mains maximum 3 times.

Age Limit of JEE Mains 2018

A candidate who wants to apply for JEE Mains 2018 should be born on or after 1st October, 1993.
