Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA)

This Institute was established in 1961, it is a public business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Vikram Sarabhai is one of the founding members and was the first director of this Institute. It was the second Indian Institute of Management to be established after IIM Calcutta. IIMA has been consistently ranked number one management school by several national agencies. This Institute offers a postgraduate programme in various management sectors. CAT or GMAT scores are prerequisites for admission into this Institute. The expected cutoff in CAT is always around 100%. The placement record of this Institute has always been strong. In 2016 a total of 105 firms visited the campus for placements.

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB)

IIMB was established in 1973 after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.  It is a public sector business school located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It offers various Postgraduate, Doctoral and executive training programmes. IIMB scored a 78.82 and ranked 2nd in the rankings provided by National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF). Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC)

This Institute was established in 1961 as the first national Institute for Postgraduate studies and research in management. With a score of 76.6 in NIRF ranking, IIMC is ranked 3rd in this category. It is the only triple accredited B-Schools in India with accreditations of AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. It is the only business school that is a member of Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS). Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L)

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK)

This Institute was founded in 1997 as the 5th IIM Institute of the country. It is situated in Kerala. Xavier School of Management (XLRI) – Jamshedpur

XLRI is business management school founded in 1949 by Society of Jesus and based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. For admission into this Institute, one has to clear XAT or GMAT exam. XAT is conducted by the college itself and the expected cut-off is around 96%. It is one of the oldest management private schools in India. The average placement package from this college is around 18.50 lakhs.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS)- Delhi

FMS was established in 1954 under the University of Delhi and is one of the oldest Government Institutes for postgraduate studies in Management. The first set of professors was trained at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. CAT scores are prerequisites for admission into this Institute. The expected cutoff in CAT is always around 99.30%. The average placement package from this college is around 20.50 lakhs.
