JEE Main organizes engineering entrance exam in India. This is the most popular exam and it will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to B.E. /B.Tech & B.Arch courses.
Allocation Procedure of JEE Main Seat
The candidates are advised to check the availability of seats in particular college, branch and category.
In the online counselling procedure, the candidates can select, change, record or delete their choices. As, once the selection process gets complete that he can no further make any changes. So, it is highly advised that the candidates should lock their choices before the time flies.
The candidates should hold the printouts so that no any confusion arises there after.In printouts the information related to terms and conditions as agreed by the candidates, should be signed and submitted at the reporting time in Reporting Centre/ Allotted institute for admission.
A registered candidate who has not locked their choices or fail to lock their choices cannot be considered for seat allotment and admission. Than that candidates has the permission of filling the form in 3rd round for participating in 4th round.
If the information is wrong or candidate is found fraud, then the seat allotted to him is cancelled.
All the candidates who got selected has to pay initial fee.
candidates should provide all the relevant certificates in original for verification, signed printout of locked choices and provide allotment letter which is printed from the website. Initial fee of Rs. 40,000 is to be produced at the time of reporting.
The fee can be paid through e-Challan, or debit card, credit card or net banking.
